Audits

On September 14, 2000, at a hearing of the Commerce, Science and Transportation Committee, U.S. Senate, we provided testimony on key issues facing the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) with respect to flight delays and cancellations and the implications of airline scheduling, Air Traffic Control (ATC) modernization, airport infrastructure, and safety. Our statement addressed several areas that need special management attention in the immediate term (1 to 2 years), the intermediate term (4 to 5 years), and the long term (8 to 10 years).
