The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) sponsored a webinar on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 to highlight research initiatives related to transportation and health.

The webinar's speakers included representatives from FHWA, the John A. Volpe National Transportation Systems Center, the Nashville Area Metropolitan Planning Organization, Puget Sound Regional Council, the San Diego Association of Governments, and Sacramento Area Council of Governments. The speakers addressed research underway and highlighted case studies and best practices for taking a holistic approach to health in the transportation planning process.
