Ornauer on AFN
Stars and Stripes reporter Dave Ornauer talks about the Pacific sports scene on AFN Radio. (Click on right arrow to play file.)
Feb. 7: This week, Dave recaps the last week of the Kanto Plain wrestling regular season, previews the league finals tournament Saturday at Yokota, gives the rundown of Kanto Plain basketball scores and touches on the DODDS Japan basketball finals coming up this weekend at Misawa Air Base.
Jan. 25: Dave is in the house, spotlight’s on a rather abbreviated week of sports. That’s because the last few days, students have been taking semester exams. What’s sometimes called “dead week,” with a touch of sports gallows humor.
Jan. 10: Dave Ornauer chats about last weekend's New Year Classic at Yokota High and a couple of thrilling finishes in it, and also previewing Saturday's "Beast of the East" wrestling tournament at Nile C. Kinnick High.
