    Hi.

I’m working with the Museum of the Waxhaws to identify a funding source to catalog the assets of the Museum’s vast collection of Native American and Andrew Jackson / pre Civil War artifacts. Cataloging software has already been purchased to generate the initial metadata, but funds are needed to complete the various phases of the project (particularly to configure the metadata using linked data/semantic architecture).

The goal is that this documentation would enable the Museum of the Waxhaws to avail its collection more effectively via quality arts programming and other educational opportunities that would include the tribal dancing and visual artistry for which the Waxhaws are noted http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Waxhaw_Tribe . Also, funding to catalog the assets of the Museum of the Waxhaws would enable them to carry on their tradition of programming and expand the opportunities associated with programming utilizing museum artifacts and related information http://museumofthewaxhaws.org/2013/01/february-17-2013-lecture-series-begins-at-the-museum/ .

Please advise as to eligibility and next steps.

    Thanks again; take care.

    Tom

HELP! Someone is putting a driveway in almost next to a historical cemetary on my property. Is this allowed? I really need someone’s advice.
