The Southern Research Station has many other programs that benefit the research and development of
the southern forest varying from Southern Forest Resource Assessment (SFRA) to Fire Surrogate Studies,
as well as information for the private forest landowner that address the challenges and opportunities
associated with sustainable forest resource management in the South (Southern Roundtable on
Sustainable Forest).
