The National Weather Service office in Binghamton, New York is responsible for issuing Fire Weather
Forecasts, Red Flag Warnings and Fire Weather Watches for parts of Central
New York and Northeast Pennsylvania.
A surface boundary along with an upper level disturbance will bring
scattered snow showers this afternoon, lake effect snow can be
expected southeast of Lake Ontario tonight into Thursday. High
pressure will bring dry chilly weather on Friday with an Alberta
clipper expected to bring minor accumulations of snow Friday night
