Debra Elaine Dandridge, Lichens: The Challenge for Rock Art Conservation, a Ph.D. dissertation submitted to the Office of Graduate Studies, Texas A&M University.

This study investigates the effects that lichens have on rock surfaces in which ancient rock art (petrogylphs and pictographs) may be found. The work was undertaken through a cooperative agreement with the University of Houston.
