Commercial Compliance Using COMcheck™
The COMcheck product group makes it easy for architects, builders, designers, and contractors to determine whether new commercial or high-rise residential buildings, additions, and alterations meet the requirements of the IECC and ASHRAE Standard 90.1, as well as several state-specific codes. COMcheck also simplifies compliance for building officials, plan checkers, and inspectors by allowing them to quickly determine if a building project meets the code.
COMcheck Desktop can be downloaded and installed directly to your desktop, while COMcheck-Web™ is accessible directly from the website without having to download and install.

COMcheck 3.9.2 introduces the ability to represent "mixed use" buildings by assigning specific space conditioning types to each envelope assembly. A new fan system worksheet has been added to demonstrate compliance with fan power requirements considering allowances for pressure drop credits. A lighting fixture library feature has been incorporated to enable customization and re-use of lighting fixtures across different projects. LED and induction lighting fixture types have been added to the interior and exterior lighting sections. This release introduces a redesigned Inspection Checklist that organizes code requirements by stage of construction, provides code section numbers corresponding to each code requirement, and provides online links to references and clarifications for most code requirements. Coupled with this report redesign is the introduction of a new Requirements screen within the COMcheck user interface that gives the user an ability to review, verify, and document mandatory and prescriptive energy code requirements that are listed in the Inspection Checklist. The new Inspection Checklist is only available for 90.1-2007, while the new Requirements screen is available to 90.1-2007 and Oregon. The Vermont code has been upgraded to the 2011 Vermont Commercial Building Energy Standards. ASHRAE Standard 90.1-2001 and the 2003/2004 IECC are no longer supported in the software.

COMcheck-Web
COMcheck-Web simplifies commercial and high-rise residential energy code compliance. It performs just like the desktop version of COMcheck, but you don't need to download or install any software on your computer.
