Flu shots to be available for active duty in September

8/30/2011 - KADENA AIR BASE, Japan -- It's mandatory for service members to keep updated with the most current flu vaccinations to support mission readiness.
This year on Kadena, flu shots will be held Sept. 6, 7, 9, 12, 13, 15 and 16 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Keystone Theater for active duty personnel only.
According to the 18th Medical Group's Immunization Clinic, though mass vaccinations in September will primarily focus on active duty service members, family members' vaccines will most likely be held in the fall.
