Peer Review - Ensuring Credibility of Information
To improve the quality and objectivity of the scientific information we use to make decisions, the Fish and Wildlife Service have implement a structured “peer review process for influential scientific information and highly influential scientific assessments, per OMB's bulletin on peer review. These is an additional policy covering peer review of Endangered Species Act activities. See the Service's National Peer Review website for additional information.
Part of the peer review process is to provide information on the Web about how each peer review is to be conducted, as described in this checklist.
