Measurement Science Conference

Purpose:

The goal of the Measurement Science Conference is to provide a professional training forum and venue to advance education, renew and expand professional contacts and partnerships, and provide emerging ideas, insights and innovations in the measurement science profession.

Agenda:

The 2012 Measurement Science Conference (MSC) will focus on the future of our science and the challenges that we face moving into the future. As society’s knowledge doubles in a shorter and shorter time frame, our ability to keep pace with new technologies might seem overwhelming. To aid us in facing the growing challenge, MSC 2012 will focus on new techniques in the Science of Measurement for Commercial, Medical and Government applications. The Technical Program is under development and will be announced soon.

MSC 2012 offers a special opportunity that occurs once in a decade. The Ninth International Temperature Symposium (ITS9) will be held in conjunction with MSC 2012. Experts from around the world will conduct their symposium, which is held once every ten years, to determine how to measure temperature on a global basis. With over 200 papers being submitted, there will be poster sessions to share this valuable information to all that attend.

Testimonials:

NIST speakers will be announced in the Technical Program.
