Focus Review Collection 2013–2015 from Polymer Journal

Focus Reviews are shorter review articles focused on the topics of author's own research interest and activities. With this narrowed scope and mini-review style format, it is mainly aimed at younger researchers to introduce essence of their researches and outcomes alongside the development of relevant study field, and to give readers useful, concise summary of the topics.

In this collection we introduce 12 selected Focus Review articles on different research topics such as polymer/CaCO3 hybrid material, polymer-based gelators, recombinant elastomeric protein biopolymers, or Polyplex Micelles.

Fusion Materials: Creative Development of Materials and Exploration of their Function through Molecular Control

The February 2015 special issue of Polymer Journal on Fusion Materials: Creative Development of Materials and Exploration of their Function through Molecular Control is a collection of papers contributed by the members of the research project of same title, focusing on the innovative researches in construction of high-functional structural materials. The accompanying web focus offers access to relevant articles selected from across Nature Publishing Group to provide further insights to readers of the special issue.

NMR of Polymers - recent advances and innovations

The August special issue of the Polymer Journal, titled the NMR of Polymers - recent advances and innovations, presents the usefulness and importance of NMR in recent polymer studies, emphasizing the significance of NMR in a wide-variety of research areas within polymer science. Further background information about this technique in polymer studies is available through the accompanying web focus which links to related articles from across Nature Publishing Group

Ichiro Sakurada and Polymer Chemistry at Kyoto University

In celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Society of Polymer Science, Japan (SPSJ), the January 2012 issue of Polymer Journal is a special issue commemorating the work of Ichiro Sakurada, a father of polymer chemistry studies in Japan.

Alongside this special issue, the accompanying web focus brings together articles published by prominent researchers from Kyoto University – the home of polymer chemistry studies in Japan.

Polymer Journal Invited Reviews Collection 2010–2011

Polymer Journal is proud to present the Polymer Journal Invited Reviews Collection, which gathers the key invited reviews that were published in Polymer Journal in 2010 and 2011. The editorial board of Polymer Journal regularly invites prominent scientists to write reviews on cutting-edge areas of macromolecular research. This is a collection of high quality review articles on current topics including π-stacked polymers, smart soft materials using molecular complexes, microporous PE films, hyperbranched polymers, and polymer recycling.

Single file submission now accepted for review

For the convenience of authors and for reviewing purpose only, the journal editorial office will consider manuscripts at the first submission stage that are submitted as a single file (Word or PDF), with figures embedded within the text or appearing in numerical order at the end of the manuscript. Please refer to Instructions to Authors for details. We look forward to receiving your submissions.
