Israeli president Shimon Peres stopped by the White House May 5 to meet with President Obama. Few details were released about their meeting or discussions on Middle East peace. However, on the same day Vice President Biden said “Israel has to work towards a two-state solution.”
Speaking before the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC,) Biden said the U.S. commitment to Israel’s peace and security is “not negotiable” and “not a matter of change” under the Obama administration. The “basic responsibility” of the United States is to ensure “that there will always, always be a place for Jews of the world to go … and that place always must be Israel.”

These are old stories said or reported repeatedly by different leaders in different times. I wish to see two states as soon as possible. I know its not possible. Because leaders are not honest and sincere to their statements.

The two state solution already exists. It was formulated and executed in 1922 by Winston Churchill. West of the Jordan is the Jewish state, East of the Jordan is the Arab a.k.a Palestinian state. The vast majority of Arabs who reside West of the Jordan are immigrants and progeny of immigrants from the East side of the Jordan, be it transjordan, Iraq and the Hijjaz. Since the West Bank, which is everything from the River to the Sea (according to each and every Arab organization ) is less than one thousandth of the Arab holdings it stands to reason that an additional Arab state should be carved out of Arab holdings rather than the meagre jewish land. All attempts at further partition have consistently failed, causing much blood-shed to both Arabs and Jews.

If some asian or african country were to behave like ISREAL then that country would get a drubbing from USA (Srilanka being a fresh example)

The Rights for future Palestinian’s to Immigrate into Israel and the Rights of future Jewish People to Immigrate into Israel shall be Equal: On a One for One Basis.
There shall be an Unconditional Amnesty and Release of All Palestinian and Israeli Prisoners.
The Walled City of Jerusalem shall remain Sovereign to all People who believe in the same Creator as revealed by Abraham.

This is at the suffering of millions of Palestinians. Israel is guilty of so many violations of international law.( as is America.) that they do not deserve any preferential treatment which the USA supplies. Your actions are over the top regarding Israel. Barely any recognition is given to the terrible suffering of the Palestinians. Israel has its own private concentration camp in Gaza. Iran is more important in order to gain brownie points in the political world, whereas Iran really should be left to its own devices and that would sort them out. We in Ireland suffered similarly to the Palestinians at the hands of the British, but how long will you allow the state of Israel dictate terms to USA.
The beginnings of middle east peace will start with giving the Palestinians a sovreign state. Just recently a small boat with Irish citizens bringing food, clothes, and medecine etc., was arrested by the Israeli navy and the people on board arrested. How sick are they ( the Israeli navy)
When I see a Palestinian tennis player playing alongside a Israeli player then that will be the end of the beginning of fair play from USA and Israel. The US tends to toe the Israeli line for known reasons. Incredible atrocities have been committed against the Palestinians
under occupation just because they have no weapons. Despite the fact that some Isralis are humanistic and enemies of Zionism, the right-wing loonies dominate the Govt policy and, by corollary, the US policy against the aggrieved Palestinians.
Due to naivette or otherwise, the ‘goodguys’ in US can’t make out how much its goodwill is getting damaged in the Muslim world. It is high time US took a lawful position so that the occupation of Palestine can end. This will create 2 states and ensure peace in the region to the detriment of the Jewish land-grabbers who flourish by their nefarious activities constantly with, what is seen as, US support.
