Executives guide entrepreneurs through science business maze
Life science entrepreneurs often face hurdles that are seemingly insurmountable as they try to bring new drugs and medical devices to market. But last summer, the UNT Health Science Center began an Executives in Residence program giving entrepreneurs access to advice from industry experts as their companies navigate the challenges of developing and commercializing new products. At the core of the program, is a seasoned executive team of successful life science professionals who provide board-level guidance in managing the critical early stages of pharmaceutical and medical device product development.
The UNT Health Science Center comprises the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, School of Public Health, School of Health Professions and the UNT System College of Pharmacy (opening in fall 2013). Key research areas include aging and Alzheimer's disease, applied genetics, primary care and prevention. If you are with the media and need additional information or would like to arrange an interview, please contact the Office of Marketing and Communications at 817-735-2446. |
