Introduction to Commercial Vehicle Information Systems and Networks (CVISN). The FMCSA Office of Analysis, Research and Technology (ART) is pleased to announce this important and timely webinar focused on the Commercial Vehicle Information Systems & Networks (CVISN) program that has been deployed in all states. The benefits of CVISN include access to more timely and complete safety information for roadside inspectors, faster and more efficient e-credentialing services between States and motor carriers, and checking truck and motor carrier compliance at highway speeds through state-based e-screening systems. Mr. Jose Rodriguez, a Transportation Specialist in the ART Technology Division, will present an overview of the CVISN Program and provide information to the FMCSA Division State Program Specialists about their role in the CVISN Program. Participants will be able to ask questions and discuss issues related to the CVISN program. 60 minutes
