Sandia researchers David Haaland and David Myers have been elected Fellows of the American Association for the Advancement of Science. Election as a Fellow is an honor bestowed upon AAAS members by their peers.

Myers was cited for "contributions to the science, management, and early application of ion implantation, lattice-mismatched heteroepitaxy, and microelectromechanical systems for commercial and national security applications."
