ARRA STIP Report
The ARRA STIP Report lists all ARRA funded projects that are included by "administrative modification" or will be included by formal STIP amendment in FDOT's State Transportation Improvement Program. This file will be updated periodically as needed to ensure the specific information required by ARRA Section 1511 is included in Florida's State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP), which is available to the public on this website and is linked via the Florida Office of Economic Recovery website(1) to the ARRA website Recovery.gov(2).
Projects included by "Administrative modification" are those projects that were already included in the federally approved STIP, with the only change to the project being the following:
The project was already in the first year of the STIP and part or all of the funding was changed to ARRA funds, or
The project was advanced into the first year of the STIP from years two, three or four and part or all of the funding was changed to ARRA funds.
Although listed in this report, projects which also entail a significant change in scope or significant change in cost estimate from the original approved STIP, or projects not in the original STIP which are being added will require a formal STIP amendment before FHWA will approve the obligation of ARRA funds.Formal STIP amendments may be found at the following website:http://www2.dot.state.fl.us/fmsupportapps/stipamendments/default.aspx
Projects on the following list are shown in traditional STIP format with ARRA funding shown under the following Work Program fund codes:
FSF1 - ARRA State Flexible
FSSE - ARRA Enhancement
FSSU - ARRA Areas > 200k Population
FSSL - ARRA Areas < 200k Population
FSSN - ARRA Areas < 5k Population
FDSU - FTA Rural (5311 equivalent) - Administered by FDOT
FTA - FTA Urban (5307&5309 equivalent) - Administered by FTA directly to Transit Authorities
Statewide summaries by fund, which are shown following the project listings, are provided for all the various types of funds (in addition to ARRA funds) which finance these projects.
The following link provides an alternate method of viewing projects financed, in whole or in part, with ARRA funds. Reports may be generated by District and/or by County. Project information includes the State Project Number (Item Segment #), description, type of work to be accomplished, amount and type of ARRA funds on the project, and total project cost. Total project cost as shown also includes non-ARRA funds, if any, that may be programmed over multiple future years. At the bottom of each report there is an option to produce the report in a print suitable format.
State Transportation Improvement Program
(FY 2009 STIP covering State FY 08/09 - 11/12)
The federally mandated State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) is approved annually by Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and amended periodically throughout the course of the federal fiscal year (October thru September). This document covers a period of four state fiscal years, included is both state and federally funded projects, and is accessible in several ways, as explained below.
The STIP may be viewed or searched on-line in portable document format (PDF). You must have Adobe Acrobat Reader to view, search or print in this format. Caution: this is a very large document so be selective in what you print.
STIP pages are broken out by District (these files will not include STIP amendments).
All District files are "PDF" file suitable for searching or printing
