Register for the 2013 TIG Conference

Where: LSC will be holding the 13th Annual TIG Conference in Jacksonville, FL at the Crowne Plaza Jacksonville Riverfront Hotel. The TIG Conference room rate is $80.

Who Should Attend: TIG recipients, IT staff, project managers, executive directors, legal services administrators, website coordinators, document assembly coordinators, attorneys, and others with an interest in how to use technology in the delivery of legal services.

Opening Plenary: Beth Kanter, author of  "The Networked Nonprofit" and “Measuring the Networked Nonprofit”

What's Covered: Session topics will cover a range of issues such as how the use of technology can enhance internal legal services operations, improve client services, address access and triage issues, provide legal information to low-income people, encourage pro bono, address LEP and other special need populations, or provide litigation support. Sessions will also cover effective management of TIG projects, including reporting and evaluation requirements. In addition, the 2013 TIG Conference is partnering with the MIE National Conference for Legal Services Administrators, which will be held January 15-16, providing one day of collaborative sessions for TIG and MIE Administrator attendees.

There will also an opportunity to exchange information in more informal 'Affinity Group' networking sessions that attendees helped determine at registration, and an 'Ignite' style plenary session to provide some fast-paced presentations highlighting technology project successes, new ideas and lessons learned.

Conference Fee: $420, includes breakfast and lunch each day, plus an evening reception. The fee to register for both the TIG Conference and the MIE Administrators Conference is $630. 2012 TIG Recipients may add-on the MIE Conference for $210.

Pre-Conference HotDocs & A2J Training: There will be a LawHelp Interactive pre-conference training for users on HotDocs and A2J on January 14-15, 2013.
