Grants and Agreements Management Division

Mission: The NIST Grants and Agreements Management Division (GAMD) is a dynamic, customer-oriented organization committed to excellence in administrative support for all grants and cooperative agreements awarded by NIST.

Vision: GAMD is committed to provide world-class customer service in the grants and agreements management arena and, in keeping with the highest standards of professional public service, to uphold the mission and values of the Department of Commerce, the National Institute of Standards and Technology, and the Office of Financial Resource Management.

Purpose: GAMD exists to provide advice, assistance, policy direction and direct administrative support during all phases of the various NIST financial assistance programs. GAMD supports NIST programs by assisting with the preparation of funding announcements, by reviewing proposals and budgets, by ensuring recipient compliance with all applicable policies and regulations, and by providing key administrative functions to both award recipients and NIST program officials.
