Reports and Publications
Final Project Report
If the user needs to continue a research project after the proposal
expires in two years, he/she is required to submit a final project report
before the new proposal can be considered . The project report must
contain the following:
- progress made in the current project;
- publications and
presentations based on the current results;
- description the work for the
next cycle
Publications and Presentations
Reprints of publications resulting from work done at the CFN must be sent
to the CFN User Administration Office at
cfnuser@bnl.gov, or to Brookhaven National Laboratory, Building 735,
P.O. Box 5000, Upton, NY 11973. The CFN compiles a list of all of
these publications, and makes it available in various publications and
reports. The list includes published work only. Users may submit references
into the online Publications Database.
Acknowledgement
The following acknowledgment is be used when referencing work performed
at the CFN:
"Research carried out (in whole or in part) at the Center for Functional
Nanomaterials, Brookhaven National Laboratory, which is supported by the
U.S. Department of Energy, Office of Basic Energy Sciences, under Contract
No. DE-AC02-98CH10886."
End-of-Experiment Survey
As part of an annual DOE reporting process, the CFN and other DOE
facilities are required to ask users to take part in a
user satisfaction survey
to provide requested feedback to the Office of Basic Energy Science (BES)
and to improve user services and the CFN. We ask that all users complete the
survey after completion of each experiment.
