Try USGS's latest product: WaterNow On-demand, current conditions for water data directly to your mobile phone or email. Send an email or text message, containing a USGS current-conditions gaging site number, and quickly receive a reply with its most recent observation(s).
Georgia Water Science Center RiverCams
We now have live webcam video installationsat the Chattahoochee River at Helen, Peachtree Creek at Atlanta, the Flint River at Albany, the Savannah River at Savannah, and the Brunswick River at Brunswick water-monitoring sites to allow you to view, in real time, current river-stage conditions.
USGS WaterAlert
The U.S. Geological Survey WaterAlert service sends e-mail or text messages when certain parameters measured by a USGS water-monitoring site exceed user-definable thresholds. You can subscribe to Georgia water-monitoring sites and be alerted when high water hits.

USGS StreaMail
USGS StreaMail is system for accessing real-time river stage and streamflow from hand-held wireless devices, such as cell phones and Blackberries. All you have to do is send an email or text message to "streamail@usgs.gov" and use a USGS station number in the "Subject" line. In a few minutes you'll get back an email/text message with the most recent stage and streamflow.
