Community Relations

Community Relations programs are designed to increase public awareness of DLA Aviation's mission and programs, in order to inspire patriotism and foster good relations with the public.

At our Defense Supply Center Richmond, Va., home, our combined civilian and military workforce supports local communities through a number of initiatives, such as a school partnership program, speaking engagements, special events and installation tours. Members of the DLA Aviation team volunteer within the local community, assisting with Habitat for Humanity projects, supporting special projects at McGuire Veterans Affairs Medical Center , and also contribute money to service agencies via the Combined Federal Campaign.
