MEDIG Self-Assessment Tool

Disclaimer:  This self-assessment tool may be utilized by commands to identify strengths and areas for improvement in regards to Department of Defense, Department of the Navy and Bureau of Medicine and Surgery mandated programs.  Commands are encouraged to use the self-assessment tool to its fullest extent in preparation for a MEDIG Inspection.   However, the MEDIG is constantly updating its inspection guides to reflect new guidance issued by higher echelon authority, and therefore, commands should not limit their preparation to the questions asked in the self-assessment tool.  Commands should consider the self-assessment tool a living document that will be reviewed annually by the MEDIG staff and updated accordingly.  If, during the use of this self-assessment tool, you believe that you have discovered incorrect/outdated information, please contact our office at (301)295-9009/9015.
