The Joint Task Force planners are working against the clock to bring badly needed humanitarian relief supplies and security to a drought-stricken developing nation.

Mission

The Joint Enabling Capabilities Command provides mission-tailored, joint capability packages to Combatant Commanders in order to facilitate the rapid establishment of Joint Force Headquarters, fulfill Global Response Force execution and bridge joint operational requirements.

Established Oct. 1, 2008 in Norfolk, Va., the JECC is comprised of three subordinate commands which provide capabilities across seven unique functional areas to bring tailored, mission-specific and high demand forces to a joint force commander within hours of notification. The JECC subordinate commands are:



The JECC conducts individual and collective training to include robust participation in JTF HQ exercises to maintain their subject matter expertise and readiness to deploy. The JECC offers a highly skilled team that rapidly increases joint force command and control capability at the operational level of a newly formed joint force headquarters.
