Toss the Candy! Just like soda, candy is a number one sugar culprit. Limiting how much candy you eat will help keep cavities at bay. If you do eat some candy, have a toothbrush handy!

Great Choice for your bathroom counter! To keep your teeth shining, you need to brush two to three times a day with a rounded, soft bristle brush.

Right on! Flossing is really important to keeping your teeth and gums healthy. In fact, if you don't floss you leave 35 percent of your tooth surface dirty.

Toss the fruity drinks. Even though they seem healthy, many of these drinks contain more sugar than fruit. While they are delicious, they can cause serious cavities.

Score! Rinsing your mouth out with certain mouthwashes can help to kill cavity-causing bacteria.

Getting rid of soda will help you keep cavities in check. Soda can have just as much sugar as candy. That sugar can lead to plaque and, finally, to cavities. To learn more about this process, read "Under the Microscope."

Toss the java! Coffee and tea can stain your teeth as unattractive yellow so limiting your intake of both is a good idea. Besides, the caffeine can keep you up all night!

Great Choice! You need toothpaste to keep your teeth healthy! Make sure you pick a toothpaste with lots of fluoride in it. It'll make your teeth stronger and keep cavities at bay.
