NSS-8 / Zenit 3SL

NSS-8 is a Boeing 702 model that will be deployed at 57 degrees East longitude where it will provide C-band and Ku-band expansion capacity in response to demand in the Indian Ocean region. NSS-8 will carry 56 active C-band and 36 active Ku-band high power transponders, making it one of the largest and most powerful satellites in the region. NSS-8 coverage will include Europe, Asia, India, the Middle East, Africa, Australia, and the Indian Ocean.
