The Library Committee is an advisory body to the U.S. Department of Education,
created to provide an important stakeholder perspective on ERIC activities. The
committee's membership consists of academic, special, and K-12 librarians with
knowledge of the literature in the field of education; expertise with the ERIC
website, other information delivery platforms, and information technologies;
and an understanding of education audiences and the ways they use information
and technology in their work and studies.
The Library Committee will provide input on many aspects of ERIC's operation,
including collection development, outreach, training/instructional delivery, and
lexicography, as well as recommendations for the public website at www.eric.ed.gov
