The Committee reports to the Director of the Office of Polar Programs and meets twice each year. It advises NSF on the impact of its policies and programs on the activities of the polar research community and provides advice to the Director of Office of Polar Programs (OPP) on issues related to long-range planning and policy.

Inquiries/recommendations regarding the OPP Advisory Committee may be directed to Dr. Fae Korsmo (fkorsmo@nsf.gov), Deputy Director (Acting), Office of Polar Programs.
