Alabama Disaster Recovery Centers
Individual Assistance can include temporary housing assistance for eligible applicants such as rental assistance and repair assistance. Residents of Autauga, Bibb, Blount, Calhoun, Chambers, Cherokee, Chilton, Choctaw, Clarke, Colbert, Coosa, Cullman, DeKalb, Elmore, Etowah, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hale, Jackson, Jefferson, Lamar, Lauderdale, Lawrence, Limestone, Madison, Marengo, Marion, Marshall, Morgan, Perry, Pickens, Shelby, St. Clair, Sumter, Talladega, Tallapoosa, Tuscaloosa, Walker, Washington, and Winston Counties are eligible for Individual Assistance and are encouraged to register with FEMA. You can register for FEMA disaster assistance at the disaster recovery centers, by telephone, or online.

Monday - Saturday-- 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
CLOSED Sunday
*The last day to apply for disaster assistance is July 18, 2011.*

Smartphone: The mobile website m.fema.gov allows the public to easily access disaster-related information directly on their smartphone. The site also includes a registration form that the public can fill out to apply for disaster assistance after a Presidential declaration.
