PrintCivilian Response Corps Members or S/CRS Applicants
Instructions for Applying
There is a two step process for being approved by both USIP and S/CRS.
Note: You will not be allowed to take the course without completing both steps of the process.
First, fill out the S/CRS form (54KB PDF)
Submit your completed form to academy@usip.org AND SCRSTraining@state.gov.
This will allow for payment to be made and course credit to be recognized.
Second, register online through USIP's Course Registration and Application (CRA) system.
During Registration, please put Civilian Response Corps or S/CRS in the Organization box, along with your permanent organization.

When you have completed all sections of the USIP registration and application and you have submitted the S/CRS form, you will receive an automatic acceptance email. Please ignore the payment information section. If you are accepted, payment will be made on your behalf by S/CRS.
You will not be approved to take the course without submitting the S/CRS form to academy@usip.org AND SCRSTraining@state.gov and registering through USIP's CRA.
