Secretary Solis and ambassadors of the Dominican Republic, Costa Rica and El Salvador sign declarations and letters of arrangements protecting the rights of migrant workers on August 29, 2011 and kicked off National Labor Rights Week.

Secretary of Labor Hilda L. Solis signed joint declarations and letters of arrangement with Dominican Republic Ambassador Anibal de Castro, Costa Rica Ambassador Muni Figueres and El Salvador Ambassador Francisco Altschul to ensure that workers from those countries are aware of the laws protecting the rights of all workers in the United States.
