Mission

Manage, support and evaluate all operations and training at Fort Benning; design, develop and field Infantry training products and devices; develop contingency and mobilization plans; and support operational deployments.

METL

  • Design training strategies, training aids, devices, simulations, simulators, and system training material plans for the Infantry Force, both AC and RC.
  • Develop and produce Infantry training doctrine.

Plans & Operations

Mission

Provide operations and planning coordination, support for power projection, force protection (anti-terrorism, response, emergency management and CBRNE) force integration and reporting in order to enable the and its units/activities a safe and relevant environment to work, train, prepare for combat, and project forces anywhere in the world on short notice.

Includes staff oversight for the unique CONUS Replacement Center (CRC).


Plans and Operations Branch/Installation Operations Center

  • Current Operations: Coordinates and synchronizes day to day operations while maintaining situational awareness across the entire installation and area of responsibility
  • Disaster Preparedness and Crisis Response: Provide Preemptive measures to protect health and safety, restore essential government services, and provide emergency relief to government, businesses and individuals affected by the consequences of all-hazards emergencies and acts of terrorism, both man-made and natural.
  • Installation Operations Center: The Installation Operations Center (IOC) ensures that the installation maintains 24/7 capability as required for situational awareness and Common Operating Picture of critical information and events. Plan, coordinate, resource, support, and Execute support to real world events and directed exercises and Army Force Generation(ARFORGEN) IAW commander's guidance, directives, regulations, operations orders (OPORDs) operations plans (OPLANs), contingency plans (CONPLANs) and exercise directives.
  • Planning and Exercises: Provides the technical expertise and leadership to synchronize and integrate garrison operations into support for OPORDs, OPLANs, CONPLANs. Plan, coordinate, resource, and develop support for directed exercises and ARFORGEN IAW commander's guidance, directives, regulations and OPLANs/CONPLANs
  • Compliance Programs: Plan, coordinate, resource, support, execute, report, both internal and external organization compliance programs to evaluate/assist in core functions and competencies.

Antiterrorism/Protection/Emergency Management

  • Integrate, Develop, and Maintain Installation AT Capabilities: Provides capability to conduct and develop the Installation AT Plan, program and populate the Core Vulnerability Assessment Management Program (CVAMP), review and provide AT recommendations for renovations and new facility construction, and performed the administrative tasks associated with the Antiterrorism Executive Committee (ATEC) and the Antiterrorism Working Group (ATWG).
  • Coordinate and Develop Action Sets: Disseminate Threat Information: Provides capability to develop and coordinate the local Force Protection Conditions (FPCON) and Random Antiterrorism Measures (RAM), coordinate contract compliance with AT standards, ensure proper dissemination of threat information, and participate in the Threat Working Group (TWG).
  • Conduct AT Risk Management and Assessments: Provides the ability to conduct required risk management to mitigate vulnerabilities or accept risk. It allows Installations the ability to make decisions and apply resources to protect units, facilities, and programs including: DoD personnel, family members, civilians, contractors, etc.
  • Conduct AT Training and Exercises: Provides capability for the Installation to conduct AT training and to conduct a comprehensive AT Exercise as prescribed by guidance.
  • Maintain Installation CBRNE/EM Capability: Ensures the protection of installations by coordinating & integrating all activities necessary to develop, implement, execute, & sustain the Installation’s capability to prepare for, prevent, mitigate the potential effects of, respond to, & recover from emergencies resulting from natural hazards, technological hazards, and acts of terrorism, to include CBRNE events.
  • Perform Continuous CBRNE/EM Risk Management: enables the ability to provide the Commander with Comprehensive Risk Management commendations to mitigate vulnerabilities or accept quantified risk. The assessments and resulting Risk Management recommendations provide Commanders with the ability to manage risk to protect all personnel & tenant commands, including structures and facilities.
  • Maintain Executable CBRNE/EM Plan (All-Hazards): provides for the development of deliberate & incident planning to prepare for, prevent, mitigate the potential effects of, respond to, & recover from emergencies resulting from natural hazards, technological hazards, and acts of terrorism, to include CBRNE events, in order to enhance CBRNE/EM capability. The CBRNE/EM program plan addresses identified threats/vulnerabilities to the Installation.
  • Conduct CBRNE/EM Training & Exercises: This SSP provides for the development, management, execution, & evaluation of training (installation & individual) and exercises (full scale, functional, tabletop) to support the assessment of Emergency Management Plans at the Installation level.

Force Management

  • Forces Readiness: Manages/executes the Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS) for Fort Benning units/organizations. Coordinates the monthly Unit Status Report (USR) for all units stationed at Fort Benning, the monthly TRAOOC Status Report (TSR) for all base units and composite reports, and the yearly Installation Status Report (ISR) infrastructure (ISR-I) for all facilities and ISR Services (ISR-S) for applicable performance measures. Ensures that units/activities have the guidance necessary to meet reporting requirements, to include submission of accurate reports.
  • Force Modernization: Manages the material fielding of Force Modernizations items to gaining units and activities supported by Fort Benning. Ensures coordination of New Material Introductory Briefings (NMIB), receipt, storage, issue, deprocessing, New Equipment Training (NET) and hand-off of end items and associated items with gaining units/organizations, support agencies on Fort Benning, TRADOC, FORSCOM, USAR, USASOC and fielding Program Managers. Maintain accountability of inventory through hand off.
  • Unit Identification Code Management: Exercise administrative/operational controls of the Installation's Unit Status and Identity Reporting System. Serves as the Unit Identification Code Information Officer (UICIO) for the Installation. Responsible for registering and keeping current data for over 700 UICs/dU1Cs, in the Army Status of Resources and Training System (ASORTS), in accordance with AR 220-20, Army Status of Resources and Training System (ASORTS)-Basic Identity Data Elements (BIDE).

Mobilization and Deployment

  • Deployment, Reception & Reintegration Planning: Develop and maintain a plan documenting resources, actions, process, procedures and preparation required to support the movement of personnel & equipment to and from theater of operations.
  • Mobilization & Demobilization Planning: Develop and maintain a plan documenting resources, processes, procedures, responsibilities and preparation required to access Reserve Component forces on to active duty in support of a level of mobilization authority and subsequent release from active duty.
  • Deployment Operations: This SSP covers deployment and deployment support (scheduling, tracking and reporting) on deploying units, individuals, and equipment including, but not limited to, movement to APOE/SPOE.
  • Coordinate Mobilization & Demobilization Life Support: Coordinates the delivery of Base Operation Services (life support services & facilities) to mobilizing or demobilizing RC Soldiers and units to include, but not limited to, billeting, transportation, food services, and quality of life.
  • Mobilization Operations: Provides those installation functions to ensure the efficient & effective execution of support functions, tracking, reporting, scheduling and certification of mobilizing units, individuals, and equipment to meet combatant command requirements.
  • Reception, Demobilization & Reintegration Operations: Provides those installation functions to ensure the efficient & effective execution of support functions, tracking, reporting and scheduling of redeploying and/or demobilizing personnel, equipment, and units.
Range Operations

Mission

Plan and budget for the construction, modernization and sustainment of ranges and the training complex. Provide operations and coordination, scheduling and control of ranges, the training complex and airspace. Furnish target system and battlefield simulation support for MCOE and tenant units. Monitor the use of ranges and training areas. Execute the Integrated Training Area Management Program.


METL

Range Operations Headquarters

  • Plan for the construction, modernization and sustainment of Ranges and the Training Complex.
  • Budget for organizational level operation and sustainment of ranges.
  • Provide personnel and pay services for employees.
  • Request, receive, store and issue range supplies.
  • Execute the Integrated Training Area Management Program.

Control Branch

  • Compile and promulgate safety requirements for all range firing.
  • Maintain and disseminate range capability information.
  • Coordinate and publish installation range and terrain schedules and range information bulletins.
  • Operate a range communications center.
  • Record and maintain range, terrain and airspace utilization records.
  • Provide advice and assistance in compliance with installation environmental protection policies.

Target Systems Branch

  • Maintain and operate targetry on remote target systems (RETS) and Commercial, off the Shelf (COTS) equipped ranges.
  • Maintain and operate target system and devices on BFV/tank ranges.
  • Provide portable target system and battlefield simulation services.
  • Provide Sustainment Level Maintenance for targetry and associated equipment.

Safety Service Branch

  • Identify and mark firing areas, dud areas, and restricted areas.
  • Initiate and coordinate dud destruction and removal.
  • Conduct range and terrain surveillance and report compliance with installation policies.
Training Division

Mission

Assists and advises the MCoE G3 and Director of DPTMS on all matters in support of TRADOC units, TRADOC/ IMCOM directorates and FORSCOM units at FBGA. Serves as the centralized tasking agency for the MCoE, coordinates and tasks for all TRADOC, FORSCOM and IMCOM installation support requirements to include Non-Tenants units’ support. Coordinates and prepares OPORDs and FRAGOs to support or implement projects and directed missions of this headquarters. Coordinates the installation Staff Inspection Visits and the Staff Inspection Program at the Major Subordinate Commands (MSC) level to provide a routine realistic assessment of the MSC attainment of established MCoE administrative and operational goals and standards.

Central Tasking Office (CTO):

  • Responsible for all external and internal taskings.
  • Responsible for input to the daily FRAGO and generating OPORDs and follow on FRAGO’s for taskings.
  • Responsible for maintaining the “Taskings Tracking Matrix”.
  • Responsible for issuing WARNORDs within 24 hours of tasking receipt.

Non Tenant Unit Support:

  • Coordinates the use of MCoE (USAIS, USAARMS) training assets and facilities for off post visiting units.
  • Coordinates tenant unit requests for on-and-off-post training with the installation units, directorates and staff.
  • Manages and coordinates training resources for Army, Navy and Air Force Active Components and Senior/Junior ROTC visiting units.

Staff Inspection Program:

Training Support Center (TSC)

Mission

Provide the highest quality Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS), local and Worldwide device fabrication, Graphics Training Aids (GTA), MILES/HITS, repair and maintenance of TADSS, and fabrication of PC-based MACS in our tri-state area of support (AR 5-9) to the Soldier and U.S. Armed Forces. Provide Army wide Javelin fabrication. Provide Audio, Bleacher, Flag, Studio Photography, and Videography Support to supported customers

Airfield Division

Mission

Provide a safe Airfield environment by providing Integrated Airfield Services, Flight Management Services, Aircraft Ground Support Services, ATC (Air Traffic Control) Services, and ATC Navigational Aid Maintenance Services in support of the Fort Benning Maneuver Center of Excellence


IMCOM Airfield Operations Common Levels of Support

“Provide consistent and equitable services via standard levels of service.” The following are the core Service Support Program (SSP) determined by IMCOM.

  • Integrated Airfield Services (SSP A) – Provide operational and regulatory oversight to ensure a safe, secure, efficient Airfield and Installation Aviation Environment is available. This may include, but is not limited to the following:
    • Coordinate and execute integrated CLS 302 services
    • Serve as Installation SVC 302 focal point for administrative and operational matters
    • Ensure compliance with prescriptive regulatory guidance, IMCOM Airfield QAE inspection criteria and IMCOM Airfield SOP
    • Oversee IMCOM Airfield Safety and Security programs
    • Oversee Airfield facilities and infrastructure readiness
    • Manage Airfield maintenance regulatory inspection and survey compliance
    • Manage Local Flying Rules and coordinate airspace usage
    • Participate in Installation Master Planning
    • Maintain the Airfield Operations Manual (AOM)
    • In coordination w/ Air Traffic and Airspace Officer, advise and assist Garrison leadership on Aviation Operating Environment management (development, growth, usage, safety, initiatives, Airfield Operations Board, etc.)
    • Manage and forecast SVC 302 personnel, training, equipment and infrastructure budget coordination and execution
    • Oversee Airfield APOE/APOD ground operations, mission planning and execution of support requirements
    • Oversee Air Traffic and Airspace (AT&A) program, TERP procedures and obstacle evaluations.
  • Flight Management Services (SSP B) – Provide flight management operations to support administrative functions, aviator services and management of aircraft arrival and departure operations. This may include, but is not limited to, the coordination of the following:
    • Process flight plans and coordinate flight following
    • Provide advisory service as required (including: airfield, traffic, and limited weather information, etc)
    • Maintain flight information publications in an area suitable for flight planning
    • Initiate and disseminate NOTAMS (Notices to Airmen)
    • Process prior permission requirements (including: CALP (civil aircraft landing permit), AALAN (army aircraft landing authorization number)
    • Coordinate for Customs, Immigration, Homeland Security, and Ag Inspections
    • Disseminate airfield command and control information as required
    • Coordinate for Airfield DVIP arrivals and departures and ensure suitable DVIP facilities are available
    • Activate emergency response notification systems (crash, weather warnings, Initiate overdue aircraft procedures, etc.)
    • Support applicable Airfield Safety program tasks (FOD, Airfield Inspections, driver / vehicle ramp access procedures and briefings, etc.)
  • Aircraft Ground Support Services (SSP C) – Provide airfield ground support operations, coordination and execution. Based on Airfield mission, size and capacity may include but is not limited to the following:
    • Coordinate and execute safe and efficient aircraft ground services support for transient, visiting and tenant aircraft
    • Support APOE/APOD and A/DAACG Airfield/Aircraft ground support requirements
    • Marshall, park, and tow aircraft
    • Operate Ground Support and Material Handling Equipment
    • Refuel and defuel aircraft (hot or cold) [currently Contracted]

Ensure readiness through preventative and corrective maintenance, technical certification, calibration, evaluation, oversight, and documentation of all or some of the following:
    • NAVAID systems and facilities to include radar surveillance systems.
    • Communications systems and facilities including inside plant and non-standard communications configurations supporting Air Traffic Control and Airfield Operations.

Security Division

DPTMS Security

Mission

Assists and advises the MCoE, Garrison and tenant activities on all CLS 603 security discipline matters pertaining to Personnel Security (PERSEC), Security Education Training & Awareness (SETA), and Information (INFOSEC)/Industrial (INDUSEC) Security. The Security Division manages the Installation Destruction Facility shredder for unit classified & FOUO destruction requirements and conducts inspections/SAVs in support of the CG’s Command Inspection Program.


SSP A – Personnel Security (PERSEC)

DESCRIPTION

Program facilitates unit readiness by ensuring that appropriate personnel have been vetted and cleared for accessions, employment, deployment, information systems access, facility access, and other mission requirements. It includes processes and actions required for security clearances and suitability/trustworthy determinations.

COMPONENTS

  • Validate requirements and review, submit and track personnel security investigations for security clearances and suitability/trustworthiness determinations (for military, civilians and contractors).
  • Conduct security in-and-out processing and orientation for military, civilians and contractors.
  • Review all relevant documents and information for recommending interim clearances eligibility.
  • Review investigation results and make suitability/trustworthiness recommendations.
  • Report adverse information in accordance with adjudicative guidelines for determining eligibility for access to classified information or assignment to sensitive duties.
  • Perform case management to resolve derogatory issues and due-process actions.
  • Perform account management functions for the Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS), Defense Central Investigations Index (DCII), and other personnel security-related systems and databases.
  • Provide program management and oversight to include required Staff Assistance Visits and inspections.

SSP B – Security Education Training and Awareness (SETA)

DESCRIPTION

Promote workforce understanding of security program policies and procedures and their contribution to mission success. Develop and facilitate the implementation of a security training program to provide necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to enable effective performance of security responsibilities by S2s/unit security managers and workforce.

COMPONENTS

  • Provide training, products, and support to unit S2s and security managers (train-the-trainer) to implement information, industrial and personnel security programs.
  • Promote a continuous security education, training and awareness program.
  • Provide required Original Classification Authority (OCA) briefings to designated OCAs.
  • Provide security training and training products to Contracting Officers and designated representatives to support contract security administration.
  • Provide customized information, industrial and personnel security training to supported organizations.
  • Provide program management and oversight to include required Staff Assistance Visits and inspections.

SSP C – Information & Industrial Security

DESCRIPTION

Protect classified and sensitive/controlled unclassified information that safeguards Army operations and activities, critical infrastructure, equipment and military, civilian and contractor personnel. Program ensures access to classified and sensitive/controlled unclassified information is limited only to authorized persons, and that all classified and sensitive/controlled unclassified information is properly marked, stored, reproduced, transmitted, transported and destroyed.

COMPONENTS

  • Provide guidance, support and process administration related to, or in support of, the following functions:
    1. Classification and declassification management (includes development of classification guides, classification/declassification determinations, and marking procedures).
    2. Destruction (includes approved destruction devices and methods, operation of centralized destruction facilities where applicable).
    3. Safeguarding (includes access and visit control, classified meetings, and processing equipment).
    4. Storage (includes open storage requirements, security containers, locks and security checks).
    5. Transportation and transmission (includes courier briefings and orders, transportation methods and requirements and temporary storage).
    6. Security incidents (includes preliminary inquiries, investigations, compromises, damage assessments and debriefings).
  • Provide guidance and support in the development and review of contract security documentation (includes DD Forms 254, Statements of Work, Performance Work Statements, and Task Orders).
  • Provide program management and oversight to include required Staff Assistance Visits and inspections.

Mission

Assist and advise the directors of G3 and DPTMS on all matters in support of TRADOC and FORSCOM units at Fort Benning in the planning, forecasting, coordinating, and execution of all MCoE conferences and ceremonies; the MCoE Commanding General’s Staff Inspection Program; The ammunition support of all Program of Instructions and Non-Program of Instructions; and all VIP over-flight, permissive jump packet preparation, Joint Airborne/Air Transportability Training, and all rotary wing support for the installation.

Committed to ensuring every Soldier receives the necessary resources to properly execute training to the highest standard in a safe and professional manner.


Operations & Inspections

Staff Inspection Program:

  • Conduct 12 Two-Week Defense Courses annually.
  • Develop Soldiers and leaders to train and fight in an Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical (NBC) posture.
  • Conduct Emergency Deployment Readiness Exercises and Staff Assisted Visit Inspections as scheduled by MCoE.
  • Conduct weekly training for the CONUS Replacement Center (CRC).
  • Maintain and schedules the use of the Main Post NBC Training Facilities (CS Chamber and Training Area).
  • Provide orientation briefings to ROTC, JROTC, and Executive Leadership Development Program participants.

Joint Airborne/Air Transportability Training Coordination:

  • Schedule and coordinate all U.S. Air Force and U.S. Army aircraft requirements in support of installation users for JA/ATT Basic Airborne Course, Pathfinder Course, Jumpmaster Course, Ranger School, Reconnaissance Surveillance Leader Course, and all Non-POI requests.
  • Approve flight hours to support installation-training programs.
  • Manage the MCoE Permissive Parachute Jump Status program for all fixed wing and rotary wing assets.

  • Schedule and assist in tours for non-tenant units visiting Fort Benning for training during weekdays and weekends.

Ammunition Management:

  • Manage Training and Operational load ammunition to include review, editing, and validating of Program of Instruction (POI)/Non-POI ammunition requirements, forecasts, allocation of short supply items.
  • Develop, program, and validate Installation ammunition requirements based on POI and non POI events.
  • Forecast, manage, coordinate, and disperse ammunition for the U.S. Army Infantry School (USAIS) and the U.S. Army Armor School (USAARMS), One Station Unit Training (OSUT) Infantry and Armor, Basic Combat Training (BCT) and IMCOM ammunition accounts.
  • Produce, process, and validate all E581s (forecasted and un-forecasted) in support of all ACOMS, Sister Services, and non-tenant visiting units.
  • Consolidate the installation monthly ammunition forecasts and submits to the Ammunition Supply Point (ASP) and Joint Munitions Command (JMC) for inclusion in the "World Wide Ammunition Requirements and Assets Report."
  • Manage the annual ammunition authorizations.
  • Account for IMCOM/TRADOC annual usage of ammunition.
  • Consolidate and redistributes the installation ammunition authorizations to meet Fort Benning’s changing mission requirements.
  • Train, mentor, and advise Total Ammunition Management Information System (TAMIS) users and holds new user classes quarterly.

  • Provide access to Army Training Requirements and Resource System (ATRRS) and Resident Individual Training Management System (RITMS) for the U.S. Army Infantry School (USAIS) and the U.S. Army Armor School (USAARMS).
  • Maintain academic records for all students attending MCoE, USAIS, and USAARMS courses.
  • Maintains historical library for academic records dating back to 1942.
  • Issue diplomas for graduates of resident course and duplicate diplomas for those students who have lost their original.
  • Conduct research for other government agencies concerning students (past & present) to be used in disputes with foreign governments.
  • Assist Judge Advocates in producing evidence to be used in courts martial and presents testimony in court cases concerning awards and decorations.
  • Review, add final class standing data, and forward to DA student Academic Efficiency reports.

  • Coordinate, plan, and execute ceremonies, conferences, and VIP events with supported directorates and units for all Installation level requirements.
  • Provide briefings to the CG, CofS, G3, State and Federal officials, and other VIPs on ceremonies, conferences, and other events.
  • Prepare and distribute operation orders, fragmentary orders, standard operating procedures, programs, and narratives for all Installation conferences, ceremonies, and events.
  • Schedule, coordinate, and conduct in progress and after action reviews for events.

  • Assist in the coordination, planning, and executions of Brigade and above Change of Commands and other ceremonial events.

Mission

The mission of G3 / G35 is to advise the Director, G3 Operations and Training on all training matters in support of TRADOC and FORSCOM units at Fort Benning.

To manage, support and evaluate all operations and training for the MCoE at Fort Benning; develop near term contingency plans (30 -180 days); and support operational deployments of tenant and FORSCOM units.


Training

  • Serve as point of contact for the Structure/Manning Decision Review (SMDR) to validate MCoE training requirements and capacities.
  • Work with DA and HQ TRADOC to resolve training constraints.
  • Manage annual resident and Mobile Training Team training programs based on SMDR.
  • Determine the requirements for and schedule training resources such as classrooms, ranges, equipment, ammunition, transportation, and troop support required for resident instruction.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of master schedules and related control documents for each resident course.
  • Compile statistical data pertaining to programmed and actual student input and in-training load, maintain related records, and prepare necessary reports.
  • Coordinate directly with DA, TRADOC, FORSCOM, and resident schools on matters pertaining to TDY school functions.
  • Coordinate/manage DA-selected ALC (CS/CSS) and SLC courses for permanent party military personnel assigned to Fort Benning.
  • Develop training capacity data.
  • Manage input on class sizes, instructor/equipment ratios and international student's number.
  • Provide access to Army Training Requirements and Resource System (ATRRS) for MCoE agencies requiring ATRRS reports and/or data.
  • Perform administrative functions concerning TDY related to Army Service School, civilian institution training, and schools of other services; and the Warrior Leader Course and Advanced Leaders Course (CMF 11) for region III NCOA.

POI and Tenant Unit Support

  • Coordinate troop and equipment requirements for USAIS and USAARMS, POIs and TEXCOM test support.
  • Provide training areas and range support for FORSCOM/SOCOM units in accordance with service agreements.
  • Schedule class start and close dates for each resident course, to include adjustments as required by POI or CAD revisions, and student shortfall or overfill. Input class schedules into ATRRS.
  • Manage Reserve component training support.
  • Plan, allocate resource and requirement for Reserve and National Guard units training at Fort Benning.
  • Manage support for units conducting annual training (AT).
  • Manage support for units conducting inactive duty Training (IDT).

Mission

The G37 develops future plans 4 to 24 months out. G37 analyzes possible solutions to future missions from the Commanding General's guidance to enhance training effectiveness and performance while optimizing training timelines. The Strategic Plans Division coordinates and synchronizes efforts with other staff and organizations to achieve the overall end state as part of the Commander's vision. The G37 develops the long range strategic plans that will move the Maneuver Center toward the Commanding General's vision of how the MCoE will operate in the year 2015.


Strategic Planning

  • Analyze Commander’s Intent and vision to plan future MCoE operations.
  • Establish planning processes that implement the Commanding General’s guidance and vision.
  • Identify Future Requirements that affect the MCoE and the Commanding General.
  • Monitor, review and provide MCoE input into the TRADOC and CAC Campaign Plans.
  • Host deconfliction meetings with Brigade S-3’s, which optimizes MCoE assets, training, and resources.
  • Organize BASE4D design, implementation and management.
  • Coordinate and manage Education Technology implementation in support of TRADOC Enterprise Classroom 21 programs.
  • Maintain the MCoE Short and Long Range Planning Calendars.
  • Plan, synchronize and coordinate annual recurring events for MCoE.
  • Manage systems used to track MCoE events and training.
  • Develop command wide plans and priorities that assist in producing more effective and efficient training.

  • Manage the implementation of BASE4D while correcting identified issues within the system.

Mission

Promote improved information access, and sharing with capabilities to enable users to make informed decisions efficiently. Encourage rapid dissemination through collaborative action. Collect, assess, and distribute data to appropriate organizations.


Knowledge Management Operations

  • Integrate and synchronize Knowledge Management (KM) across the CoE's (Center of Excellence) functions
  • Identify KM opportunities and challenges within CoE; develop and validate KM needs; and synchronize and manage the implementation of KM initiatives
  • Govern the KM process and collaborative systems employed within the CoE and with external organizations.
  • Lead innovation and manage change to embed KM skills within the workforce
  • Provide recommendations on how existing and planned KM initiatives can be improved

  • Provide Maneuver Center of Excellence (MCoE) point of entry for KM-related inquiries from external organizations

  • Provide administration of Warrior University. Manage content through the use of the administrator modes for PostNuke and PhPBB modular design for changes and updates. Review material, file management, and file upload/download, access control, troubleshooting, research, analysis, and recordkeeping. Conduct regular maintenance ensuring all links are checked and working or replaced.
  • The Army Training Help Desk (ATHD): Assist Soldiers in finding information requested via the ATHD.
  • Provide analytic support to the G3. Analyze current and emerging capabilities and technologies to develop recommendations for future web based training supporting the Fort Benning Lifelong Learning Master Plan, the Infantry and Armor Forces, and Army transformation. Present and recommend technologies for consideration.
  • Facilitate the professional forum within Instructor Net. Ensure posts are relevant, reviewed, and posted in a timely manner.

Center for Army Lessons Learned

  • Enhance Rapid Integration of Lessons Learned Integration (L2I)
  • Disseminate Observations Insights Lessons (OIL)/Tactics Techniques and Procedures (TTP)
  • Produce Gap Filling Products/Publications

Harmony Church Simulations Facility

  • Close Combat Tactical Trainer consisting of Abrams, Bradley, and Reconfigurable Vehicle Simulator (RVS) manned modules.
  • Eight gunnery bays equipped with Conduct of Fire Trainer-Enhanced (COFT-E), Bradley Advanced Training System (BATS), Conduct of Fire Trainer-Advanced Gunnery Training System (C-AGTS), Advanced Gunnery Training System (AGTS) System Enhanced Program (SEP), and the Mobile Gun System (MGS) Advanced Gunnery Training System (AGTS)
  • Two 1:30 Call for Fire Trainers II (CFFT II)
  • Eight multi-purpose classrooms (CR) with the following capability:
    • Seat 40 students, each with a desktop computer
    • Each computer loaded with CPoF, FBCB2, BCS3, VBS2 (VBS2 only loaded on 40 computers in one CR.)
    • All 40 computers connected to each other by LAN to a network switch within the CR
    • Each of the 9 CRs is connected by fiber to a BCTC server room allowing each CR to stand alone or be connected to one or more other CRs.
  • Nine TOCs (8 TOCs adjacent to CRs and 1 RTOC) each connected by fiber to the BCTC server room allowing each TOC to stand alone or be connected to one or more other TOCs or CRs
  • Nine Battle Command White Cell (BCWC) rooms each connected allowing BCWC to stand alone or be connected to one or more other BCWCs, TOCs or CRs
  • Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability (JLCCTC) - Entity- Resolution Federation (ERF). JLCCTC-ERF is a federation of simulations, Simulation Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Information (C4I) interfaces, data collection and after action review tools. It stimulates ABCS using JCATS to facilitate battle staff collective training by requiring staff reaction to incoming digital information while executing the commander's tactical plan
