Master Chief White enlisted in the Navy and reported to Basic Training in March 1988 at Recruit Training Command, Naval Training Center San Diego, CA. He graduated from Hospital Corps "A" School, Great Lakes, IL in August 1988 and reported for duty to US Naval Hospital Okinawa, Japan serving from September 1988 - October 1990. In October 1990 he attended Basic Laboratory Technician School at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, TX.

Master Chief White reported to Naval Hospital Oakland, CA in March 1991 serving in the laboratory and in March 1993 he reported to USS Arkansas (CGN-41) homeported in Alameda, CA and Bremerton, WA completing a WESTPAC in 1994 supporting Operation Southern Watch in the Persian Gulf. His next tour beginning in March 1996 was at Naval Reserve Center Port Hueneme, CA where he terminated shore duty early and attended Field Medical Service School Camp Pendleton, CA in October 1998. He then reported to Naval Mobile Construction Training Center Port Hueneme, CA reporting in December 2001 where he was selected for Chief Petty Officer while serving as School Director for Disaster Recovery School and "A" School Naval Military Training LCPO. His next tour was in 1st Marine Division Camp Pendleton, CA serving as SMDR for 3D Battalion 1st Marines deploying to Haditha, Iraq in support of OIF, he then served 3rd Amphibious Assault Battalion where he was selected to Senior Chief Petty Officer. His tour culminated as the acting Command Master Chief for 7 months for over 900 Sailors transferring in July 2008.

Master Chief White reported to Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton in October 2008 and deployed as an IA in August 2009 to Farah, Afghanistan as the Senior Enlisted Leader for a Forward Surgical Team. He returned to his duties in April 2010 as the Senior Enlisted Leader for the Directorate for Administration and was selected to Master Chief Petty Officer. He assumed duties as the Command Master Chief Naval Hospital Lemoore, CA August 2012 thru February 2012 leading the command to successful MED-IG and Joint Commission Survey. He assumed duties as the Headquarters Marine Corps Health Services Senior Enlisted Advisor in April 2012.

Master Chief White is warfare qualified as an Enlisted Fleet Marine Force Warfare Specialist, Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist, Seabee Combat Warfare Specialist and is a Master Training Specialist. His personal awards include the Meritorious Service Medal (2 awards), Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (4 awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (4 awards) and various unit and campaign awards. Master Chief White is a graduate of United States Navy Senior Enlisted Academy Class 140 Blue.
