WIESBADEN, GERMANY — May 19, 2011 — It is with great sorrow that DoDDS-Europe announces the passing on May 10, 2011 of Catherine Annette Minger-Croton, a much loved teacher at Feltwell Elementary School.
Annette died at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge, England after a brave two year battle with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. She taught for DoDDS at RAF Feltwell for 12 years during which time she earned the love and respect of students and colleagues alike.
Annette will be remembered as a great friend and a selfless, dedicated teacher. She is survived by her husband Phil; parents Catherine and Robert Minger; three step children Amy Croton, Lucie Aldis, and Tim Croton; a grandson, Noah Aldis; and many aunts, uncles and cousins who mourn their loss.
Funeral services are planned for Friday, May 20 at 10:00 am at Oak Grove Assembly of God Church, Port St. Joe, Florida. Her body will be interred at Hickory Hill Cemetery in Westville, Florida.
