Newly available BLS data reveal that one-third of employees who offered health care plans in 1992-93 had a variety of plan types from which to choose. This article combines health choice data for employees of medium and large private establishments in 1993 with previously released data for employees of small private establishments in 1992 to produce, for the first time, data on private establishment health plans chosen by employees.
