Floating Cabins on Allatoona Lake are Grandfathered as they are no longer permitted and are protected by WRDA (Water Resources Development Act). However like all Grandfathered items, if not properly maintained or fail to comply with safety standards, can be required to be removed from Allatoona Lake.
Any alterations to current floating cabins must have approval though the Allatoona Lake Project Management Office. No new floating cabins will be allowed.
