The term, "standardized tests," means that these tests are always administered with the same directions and time limits, and are always scored the same way, to ensure fairness for all students. Both standard and criterion-referenced assessments are used to monitor student achievement and also to evaluate system-wide progress towards meeting the goals of the DoDEA Community Strategic Plan.
