Research Projects

CompTox research identifies and prioritizes potentially toxic chemicals using rapid, automated tests (high-throughput screening assays). A few uses of CompTox research include prioritizing chemicals for EPA's Endocrine Disruption Screening Program, new and existing industrial chemicals regulated under the Toxic Substance Control Act and potential drinking water contaminants required by the Safe Drinking Water Act.
