About Us

WALKER INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL is a DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE Domestic Dependent Elementary and Secondary Schools (DDESS)school. DDESS is a division of the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA), serving the dependents of military men and women. We are located on Fort Knox, Kentucky.

Walker School is a 4th through 6th grade Intermediate School serving approximately 280 students. Walker is Accredited by AdvancED.
