The Municipal Utilities Board of Decatur will collect GPS field data for GIS

Public Abstract

The Municipal Utilities Board of Decatur will:
1) Improve natural gas pipeline safety by making systematic improvements in reporting and recording of cathodic protection information;
2) Deploy a geographical information system for pipeline safety information; and,
3) Enhance the accuracy of the system data in order to improve damage prevention through
public community education and public awareness of pipeline locations.
