Biography:
John Reppy is on leave from the University of Chicago, where he is a Professor of Computer Science and a Senior Fellow of the Computation Institute. His research interests are the design and implementation of high-level programing languages, particularly those used for parallel and concurrent programming. He received his PhD from Cornell University in 1992 and was a MTS at Bell Laboratories in Murray Hill NJ prior to moving to Chicago in 2002.
