MARINE CORPS BASE HAWAII - Eric Foley takes a few practice swings at the Semper Fit Center, Feb. 13, 2013. Foley is the champion of Semper Fit’s fall racquetball tournament, which ran from October to January. He defeated Chris Varona, after a round of three games, of which the two best scores decide the winner, 15-5 and 15-7. Foley has played racquetball for more than 40 years, and 10 of those years he played with USA Racquetball. He has also placed second in the U.S. Open in Racquetball in 1986 in the 30 and over division, and again took second 2003 in the 40 and over division. He has played in three tournaments while in Hawaii. “I like the one-on-one competition,” Foley said. Another racquetball tournament is tentatively set for April.
