On February 28, 2005, the
Department of Energy provided a schedule to develop, revise, approve, and issue
directives related to software quality assurance. �The purpose of this letter is to provide you
with the status of these directive changes.
On June 17, 2005, DOE O 414.1C, Quality Assurance,
and DOE G
41 4.1-4, Safety Software Guide for use with 10 CFR 830
Subpart A, Quality Assurance Requirements, and DOE O 414.1C, Quality Assurance,
were issued. �With the issuance of these two directives, the
attached list has been revised to show the new schedule for revising other
directives to reference the revised Order and the new software quality
assurance Guide.
We will continue to actively
