Briefly:
Hansen's work focuses on the valuation of offsite environmental benefits associated with changes in farm programs and practices. He has estimated non-market demands for improvements in environmental quality. The estimated demand functions--demands for improved wildlife habitat and water quality--are designed to be used in subsequent environmental policy analyses.
