Eligibility
Families must reside on the installation in permanent family housing to be eligible to attend Fort Campbell Schools. See DDESS Eligibility.
All registrations can take place at any Ft. Campbell School. To find out which school your child will attend, visit the FCS Registration page. If families have children in more than one of the Fort Campbell Schools, it will be necessary for sponsor to register at each school student registration form.

Age Requirements for Students Entering School for the First Time (Preschool, Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten): Early Childhood Entrance Age Change for SY2009-2010.
- Students entering Pre-K must be 4 years old on or before September 1st.
- Students entering Kindergarten must be 5 years old on or before September 1st.
- Students entering 1st Grade, who did not attend Kindergarten, must be 6 years old on or before September 1st.
Documents for Enrollment:
- Lease Agreement OR Memorandum from Housing Office verifying permanent family housing assignment within 180 days
- Current Orders for verification of Active Duty Status
- Student’s original birth certificate or certified copy (Preschool, Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten students will not be registered without verification of date of birth)
- Previous school records and/or previous school’s mailing address
- Certificate of Immunization required by DoDEA (must be on file in the nurse’s office within 10 days of starting school). Certificates are available at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital. Immunization Information SY 2010-2011
- Students entering school for the first time (Preschool, Pre-K, Kindergarten) will also need an Eye, Ear, and Dental Examination (must be on file in the nurse’s office within 10 days of starting school). Exams are available at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital.
- Preschool Children ages three and four years with developmental delays, physical disabilities, or speech-language problems may be eligible for special education services. You may contact the Special Education Office at (270) 439-1927 x 5007 if you are concerned about your preschooler. For infants and toddlers, ages 0-2, you may contact Educational and Developmental Intervention Services (EDIS) at (270) 798- 8997.
Withdrawal
Please notify the school in advance when you plan to withdraw your child. We need 5 days to get your child's records copied.
- Please return all of your child's books, including library books.
- Check with the cafeteria to make sure there is no outstanding balance on your child's account.
