TPMM provides a detailed set of detailed systems engineering criteria for managing and maturing technologies. It provides standardized definitions and checklists for assessing and maturing technologies. The result is a well-defined set of engineering criteria showing the path ahead for technologies, and a technology transition agreement (TTA).
TPMM was developed by the U.S. Army space and missile defense command, with significant support from Dynetics, Inc.
