EERE Postdoctoral Fellowships in Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency

 

The Department of Energy's Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) Postdoctoral Fellowships support innovative research in energy efficiency and renewable energy by offering recent Ph.D. recipients the opportunity to conduct applied research at universities, national laboratories, and other research facilities.

The objective of the EERE Postdoctoral Fellowships is to create the next generation of scientific leaders in energy efficiency and renewable energy by attracting the best scientists and engineers to pursue breakthrough technologies in renewable energy sources of biomass, wind, water, solar energy, geothermal energy, and hydrogen and fuel cells, and energy efficiency in vehicles, industry, and buildings. Benefits include a yearly stipend, research allowance, health insurance, and relocation travel. Fellowships are for up to two years. The application deadline is June 30, 2011.
