1.0 Applicability
This procedure is applicable to Office of Science (SC) personnel involved in revision or approval of the SC Field Office level Functions, Responsibilities, and Authorities (FRA) document.
Step 1 |
At least annually, the Field Office Manager appoints a Lead to review the approved Field Office FRA document. If needed, the Field Office Manager directs the Lead to form a Team. |
Step 2 |
The Lead or Team reviews the Field Office FRA document, the current SC FRA document. The FRA Document must meet the expectations identified in DOE G 450.4-1C, Integrated Safety Management System Guide:

Step 3 |
The Lead incorporates all identified changes into the draft FRA document revision and then, as appropriate, provides it to the Field Office organizations for review. |
Step 4 | As appropriate, the Lead or Team performs comment resolution and sends the comment resolution response to the commenters. |
Step 5 |
The Field Office Manager approves the revised FRA document. |
Step 6 |
The Field Office notifies Field Office personnel of approved FRA document. |
