MISAWA AIR BASE, Japan – A U.S. Air Force C-17 Globemaster III assigned to Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii, is loaded with 15 power generators at the flightline here April 2. Have you done it?

MISAWA AIR BASE, Japan – Have you done it? Maj. Christopher Schumann from Misawa AB “did it” by helping local farmers at two strawberry farms in Hachinohe March 28. The fields contained greenhouses to protect the crops from the harsh winter environment and were flattened by the tsunami March 11. Major Schumann removed pipe and plastic from the strawberry field and stacked it for trucks to pick up for recycling. He was one of 144 Airmen from Misawa AB who attended this workday, which proved to be the highest number to date since the “Misawa Helps” volunteer effort kicked off. MISAWA AIR BASE, Japan – Have you done it? 144 Airmen from Misawa AB “did it” by helping local farmers at two strawberry farms in Hachinohe March 28. The fields contained greenhouses to protect the crops from the harsh winter environment and were flattened by the tsunami March 11. Workers removed the plastic and metal frame from each greenhouse and stacked the frame pieces and plastic for trucks to pick up for recycling. Misawa's Airmen and Readiness Center Reopens

MISAWA AIR BASE, Japan-- The Airmen and Family Readiness Center has resumed normal operating hours and is prepared to help Airmen and dependants with any questions or concerns they may have. Misawa Club Reopens

MISAWA AIR BASE, Japan -- Misawa's Lakeview Grill has reverted to its normal operation hours of 11:00 am to 7:00 pm, after a temporary closure due to recent natural disasters. Misawa's driving range reopens

MISAWA AIR BASE, Japan -- Technical Sgt. Chris Draper, Unit training manager for the 301st Intelligence Squadron, takes time to relax on the Misawa driving range March 30. The Misawa driving range and golf course was closed over the winter season and remained closed after the earth quake and tsunami disaster.
