Denver International Airport Sweep Indicts 110, Arrests 45

Summary
OIG special agents took part in a security raid at Denver International Airport in which 110 employees were indicted and 45 employees had been arrested as of close of business on September 20. The defendants were charged with using false social security numbers and lying about their immigration status on their security badge applications. OIG participated in the sweep with the INS, Social Security Administration OIG, and the U.S. Marshals Service.
